October Minutes
At about 2:00, Jason called the meeting to order. Trent and Jason led us in the pledges. After this, Trent introduced three new members and their families. Ari Jihan and also, Maggee and Maycee Cunningham. Then Kaia read the roll call and Brianne collected dues. Then Kaia read the minutes and there were no objections. Then Brianne read the treasurers report. We have an actual balance of $204.50 as of last month.
Old Business
After that, Jason told the group about how the officers were going to fix up the club website, www. 4hoa.weebly.com. Then we discussed Stream Team on the 28th of October and the potluck/ bonfire at the Boes house.
New Business
The St. Francois County officer training is on Thursday, October 14th at 6:00 p.m. Someone should sign up for a program for November. No one is signed up. Trent proposed to the group that we should get a bumper sticker with the clubs’ name on it and maybe a symbol or something. Holly Schott gave Matthew Schaffer his 10th year pin and Brianne her 1st year pin from Barnwarming. Ayla Schott said that we should have an ice- skating field trip. We decided to go sometime in November.
Program
Rachel gave a delicious demonstration on an easy way to make cinnamon rolls. Then Sarah gave a cool demonstration on origami swans.
Next, Jamie Hubert from St. Francois State Park gave a program on snakes. It was an amazing program. She talked about venomous snakes and the difference between venomous and non venomous. She also had a Speckled King Snake that eats other snakes.
The Schaffers provided apples with caramel , pretzels, and juice.
